To be the valedictorian is a dream of every young and future intellectual, but to get to this title, one must endure hard work, effort,  laborious and dedicated studying. Stefan mentioned, if we want to accomplish our goal, we have to work on it.

- I got the award primarily because of my GPA, 10, and because of the additional exams outside my teaching program, those extra exams enabled me to finish my studies one year early, so i was directly enlisted into a second year of studies. Also, i passed everything in the first examination period - said for Telegraf this young mathematician.

Stefan said, that he likes the recognition, but he points out that there are excellent students in other departments, but Stefan was named the best in the entire Faculty of Science.

While mathematics presents hard, and not so interesting nature's science, for Stefan it is just a game with numbers and signs where talent overcomes every possible and impossible results.

- Theoretical mathematics demands constant work so there is no standard of how much time someone has to spend for the 10. Also, the the subjects are placed so each one is the update of the previous knowledgeI learn logically, so i can apply the learned material later on, mathematics is quick to learn, everything is simple to understand and solve - said Stefan.

In the examination period, young genius doesn't look at his watch.

All right, i learned for few hours and that's it for today, most of the students works that way, but it is wrong, while you study, time doesn't exist, i was studying for 10 hours a day in order to pass the exam. Simply, you should not look at your watch, just study while we can remember and adopt the knowledge. I had the fortune during my studies to work with some top, young experts who did not have the money for motif, but the desire to bring mathematics closer to the youth - said Stefan.

During his years of study, he had the opportunity to meet some world famous mathematicians and to travel around Europe, Australia, America and Japan.

Every country has its own advantages and shortcomings, but in the world, there is a clearly defined circle of knowledge and the circle of  capital. So i am purely interested in working in Serbia, i consider that the work and quality adequately upgrade each other - said this optimistic young man.

Stefan knows that that some rewards don't come at once, but he believes that every knowledge and effort are eventually rewarded.

I am aware that i can be a world reference from Serbia with good results.

Stefan's plans are tied to the university in the next period, in the next month he plans to have his Master's Thesis and start working on his doctorate from from Octobre. Until then, Stefan will have time to commit to his old love, horology. It is a family tradition that has been going on for half a century and remains withing a family.

My grandfather and father were watchmakers, and i plan on continuing the tradition. I learned the craft from my grandfather who was a great craftsman, during his life, he trained many people in his ways, and now they are working all over the world. Whenever i have some free time, i help my father in the shop - said Hacko.

This young man, besides math, loves bicycling and running. Also, the family hobby is radio amateurism and two years ago he placed second in the World competition in digital communications.

I love opera and i plan most of my trips so i can listen to my favorite music in the famous opera houses -  Stefan is honest.

After all, he sees himself in Serbia, on the Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, next to to his mentor Dr Bojan Basic. And his words to the youth:

The true treasure is in your own garden, but it is buried deep. To reach it you need to work hard, with persistence, vision and selflessness. And he adds - in your search for the treasure help others, because healthy competition is good, and desirable.
