Considering that hospitality is one of the basic principles of all Orthodox people, especially in monastic communities and our monastery, brotherhood of monastery Tumane wanted for their guests not to be troubled with money and paying, rather for their stay to awaken joy and comfort. That is why there are no prices in the inn, but people can leave the money as they please for their food and drinks, which is used for restoration of the monastery, written on the web site put oko sveta.

The meals are always in accordance with church rules, and in the days of fasting only meatless meals are served, but you can still eat cooked food, trout from the monastery pond, the food that is in the monastery that day and simple sweets such as pies and cakes made in the old monastic recipes.

There are also products with the monastery's economy: wine and brandy, cottage cheese and cream cheese, homemade juices and other products made by hardworking monastic hands. Two professional chefs cook in the kitchen who selflessly effort that the visitors feel all the beauty of host hospitality.

The abbot of the monastery, Father Dimitrije, said that the mill feels ravages of time and is unused and with the arrival of monastic brotherhood in the autumn of 2014, the restoration began. After the church, dormitory and port, they started thinking what was the most adequate way to restore former mill and the area around it, which was overgrown in weeds and shrubs.

- The interior of the mill was in very bad condition, and the worn-out roof could fall any moment. When they estimated the situation, with the blessing of competent Bishop of Branicevo Ignjatije, the brotherhood started working - said Dimitrije.

A hospitality function was designed when the number of guests increased, and the brotherhood could not serve all the people, modeled by the ancient monastery practice of hospitality. Monastery Tumane, as most of the medieval monasteries had its own guest inn, and even the inn in Golubac.

Monasteries Studenica and Mileseva have similar dormitories, and Draganac on Kosovo and Metohijami as well from recently.

- The idea of the brotherhood was met with exquisite reception from the people, and it was consisted of the idea that the visitor can refresh himself with food and drink in a spiritual environment, with a lovely view to monastery church, which takes you in every moment back through the centuries and brings the tales of Milos Obilic and his first meeting with St Zosim back to life. Tuman saints and the ancient lecture become the part of their life and families, and they happily return to the same place.

The friends of the monastery usually work in the inn, who want to be of practical use while they are staying in the monastery. As a monastery itself, the dormitory and inn are open from 7 am to 20 pm. You don''t need reservations (except a large group) and everybody are welcome.

The visitor of Monastery, according to Dimitrije, are believers and pilgrims at the first place, tourists and people of good will, who want to get new spiritual treasure in the time when stay in intact nature is more than necessary.

- Medieval shrine with the remains of the two saints and the icon of Holy Virgin, as well as mini-zoo and trout pond. Above all the most beautiful and the most important holy place and under national protection is the Hermitage of Saint Zosima few hundred meters from the monastery, in a dense beech forest. Because of the many miraculous healings that have occurred in it, the people calls this shrine Djerdap Ostrog - concluded the abbot and called upon all readers to come by the monastery.
