Even though it was 15 degrees below zero, and the lake was frozen, they set up their "picnic" table, and then, breaking the ice, went bravely into the lake, saying: "If the Russians can do it, so can we".
Truth be told, they went out before they got in, they just got a bit wet on comparison to Russians who took a bath and a swim. It takes courage to do this "endeavor", they say, and it will remain as a permanent memory.
