One of the best playwrights and poets William Shakespeare by writing a love drama in a small Italian town, could not even imagine that in impoverished Serbia two shepherds will outshine his characters from Verona drama "Romeo and Juliet".

- While they were keeping sheep in their youth, Momir and Rada promised eternal love to each other - said DDragan Pejovic, local of the village Rezane.

In Shakespeare's play two prominent families are in strife because of unrequited love, and in Serbia as two wealthy families in strife because mutual love.

Rada was forced to marry another man. Momir returned from the army and called upon Rada to come to a meadow where they met and promised love to each other. He stole the gun from his grandfather and killed his beloved Radu, after that he took his own life.

It is said that in the way to the meadow, Rada came by to her mother Vojislava and asked her to be buried next to Momir.

However, her parents did not meet the behest.
