The police in Sarajevo searched a residential building in the Stupsko Brdo settlement this morning where they discovered 180 migrants.

Klix portal said it learned unofficially that a certain amount of narcotics has also been found, with one person detained in connection with that, while 180 others of foreign origin will be transferred to a migrant reception center in Blazuje.

"Following a previously obtained order from the Sarajevo Municipal Court, which was issued at the request of police officers of the Police Administration, with the on-duty prosecutor's agreement, a warrant was issued to search the facility and the persons in it," Mirza Hadziabdic, a spokesman for the Sarajevo Canton police, told Klix.ba.

It is a facility where migrants gathered and stayed in the past. In February, the police carried out a similar operation, at which time about 150 migrants were discovered there.
