Our region will be under the influence of a strong anticyclone and very high air pressure, so the weather in Serbia will be stable and significantly warmer in the coming days.

In most places, mornings will be cold and foggy until the weekend, there will be light frost in some areas, especially at the ground level, while during the day it will be sunny and significantly warmer due to the influx of a warmer air mass from the Mediterranean.

Only in the northern province of Vojvodina and some lowlands, basins and valleys the fog will linger longer into the day, making the weather colder.

Temperatures in the coming days will go up to 21-22 degrees Celsius, in the areas with fog around 10°C. The weekend will be the warmest, with temperatures in the west of Serbia reaching 23°C, especially in Podrinje and the Kolubara District.

It will be warm in parts of western and central Serbia, and colder in the north of Backa and Banat.

On Friday, the southeasterly wind is expected to strengthen, so fog and frost will be absent in all areas during the weekend. A drop in air pressure and the strengthening of the cyclone coming from the Atlantic are also expected.

This will be a prelude to the change in weather that is forecast for the beginning of next week, and during the greater part of that week Vojvodina will be overcast, with rain.

On Monday evening and during Tuesday, Serbia is expected to have temporary stronger cloud cover bringing rain and showers from the northwest and west, along with a significant drop in temperatures.
