Had Tanja Stojanovski, our national record holder in ultra-marathon, ran last year in one direction, she would have arrived in London. She managed to run in 10 Ultra-marathons; a total of 1,950 kilometers, at that rate, she would have reached the British capital with only another 95 kilometers to go.

- At the recently held competition on Ada Ciganlija, I ran 120 km in 12 hours, breaking a personal record. I had time to be a little faster, but I left

something for next year, I accelerated in the last two and a half hours - says Tanja with a smile and explains how she will run an ultra-marathon.

- You run in circles, at every break, you answer to the judge. During your break, you can do whatever you want ... eat, rest, change your clothes ... But I do not approach it that way. I come to the race knowing that I will run for the next 24 or 48 hours, and I don't think of anything else. At the race in February on Ada, it was the same, everything I did, I did in the race. I ate on the go, I did not really go to the bathroom, it was raining, I did not want to stop to change, but I just put on my jacket and continued the race, without stopping. Only thing is, I stop for fluids, and sometimes drink up to 24 liters of water.

Ivana Spanovic as Telegraf's guest: When you compete for Serbia the emotions are different! (VIDEO)

- I never come to a race with the attitude that this is something difficult, something I can not fulfill. I'm positive, I encourage myself, telling myself that I can succeed, that I've come here to enjoy myself and run. You would not believe what can be done during a race ... Given that I meet with some of the competitors regularly, competitions are an ideal opportunity to chitchat, comment on form, and encourage each other - speaks Tanja of the ultra-marathon as though its a stroll in the park.

- I do not like to make breaks because I do not know how my body will react if I stop, when muscle cool down. It is very risky. That's why I am devoted to the race and run the whole time.

- I wanted to tempt myself and my body, to see how much I can withstand, and I have yet to find an extreme limit. In addition to training, genetics are key. My mother is from Dalmatia, my father from the Sar mountains, and with Serbian defiance, I manage to run hundreds of kilometers even when my whole body hurts, and when, with open wounds on my fingers, thighs and arms I can not!

Even though she eats mostly healthy, basing her diet on fruits and vegetables, she works out daily in different ways.

- Every day I ride a bike on our plain, swim or run around the fields. I do not have a personal trainer nor a curriculum. Desire, hard work and a positive attitude are key to success - ends Tanja, adding that she hopes for help from the Athletics Federation of Serbia, to be able to go.
