An additional problem for coach Dejan Savic is a injury of Strahinja Rašović who got hit in the head, and was sent to the hospital for screening.
According to the Serbian Water Polo Association, Rašović suffered a fracture of the cheekbone and a mild concussion.
"Strahinja Rašović, after a hit or blow by Jesse Smith left the pool himself and asked for help. He was taken to hospital where he spent several hours for screening. A mild concussion and fracture of the cheekbone were confirmed. Goran Čanković, Aleksandar Janik were by his side the entire time, afterwards Dejan Savic, Milorad Krivokapic and Nemanja Marijan joined, "said VSS.
