One spectator was killed when the participant of the competition, Ivan Kapa lost control of his vehicle directly in front of finish line and flew off the track, turning into the audience pit.

Ranko Čejović (52) from Bar, died from the impact, while the driver of the Yugo remains in hospital due to a serious injury of the femur and both hands.

In addition, three spectators were injured .
