SHE FOUND A SNAKE IN THE TOILET BOWL: She experienced an even greater shock when she called for help!

We believe that many of you have a fear of finding a snake in the toilet. That is what happened to Sonja Delic, a Croat from Kucina where a snake appeared in her bathroom about one meter long, writes Slobodna Dalmacija.

- The only fortunate thing is that I have a habit of always flushing the toilet and closing the lid before I carry out my business. That's how I spotted it. I had just started when I saw below me, something dark, curled up . First I thought that perhaps my grandson put in some sort of black rubber or something, and then ... shock! And what can I say, I was in shock when I realized it was a serpent - said Sonja.

She immediately closed the lid and called for a vet ambulance in Split, but since it was the weekend they probably weren't working, and then I called 112. That's when they referred her to call Zagreb, because there is no one in charge of snakes in Split!

- Oh, dear God, and what was needed? For me to wait for them to come from Zagreb ... Who knows, maybe Bandic (mayor of Zagreb) would have come, he would have surely and quickly solved the problem - joked Delic.

They even told her not to kill the snake, because it may be a protected species, and she could be fined.

- Oh, I could not believe what this man was saying?! What was I supposed to do, wait for him to hatch snake eggs or take me by the throat, maybe I should have taken him for a walk in the forest - said Sonja for "Slobodna Dalmacija".

It the end, firefighters came to her rescue and released her of the snake.
