The young Milana Jaksic, is just 21, but is already a karate star.

Although she is still a senior by seniority and years, she managed to win a bronze medal at the Senior European Championships.

It is also her greatest success so far in her career, and it's only the beginning. There is no doubt that in the years to come, she will delight all lovers of karate in Europe.
Milana is originally from Vrsac, studies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad, and competes for the club from Sombor.

However, what sets her apart from other karatists is her attractive and powerful appearnce that is not characteristic of karate and its discipline.
- Karate is my life because I've been training since the age of six and have been doing it for the past 15 years - says Milana for Telegraf.
- Karate develops both the mind and body and helps me progress in all aspects of life.
- I've won two European bronze medals as junior and bronze as senior which is very important for me.
When asked what her future plans are, given that next year karate will not perform at the Olympic Games in Rio, Milana revealed:
- I'm glad karate has entered the Olympic sports,and appeared for the first time ever in the Games in Bakuu.
This year there is no competition, but next year we have the European and World Championships and I hope that I'll take the medal.
In karate, there are two disciplines
- They are the kata and kumite. I have opted for kata and for me it is a kind of art form.
