Gasic: Serbia under pressure over high migrant inflow

Gasic and Landovsky discussed the possibilities for improvement of cooperation in the defence sector and the current migrant crisis, the Serbian Defence Ministry released.

They agreed that military technical and military economic cooperation between the two countries needs to continue and improve, but they also noted that the focus of cooperation needs to rest on the sector of military education and nuclear biological chemical defence.

Minister Gasic expressed the hope that the forthcoming visit of Czech Defence Minister Martin Stropnicky would provide a strong impulse to further development of defence cooperation.

Deputy Defence Minister Jakub Landovsky is a member of the permanent delegation of the Czech Republic visiting Serbia.
