The unfortunate kid lost 25% of his skin and he is in a hospital in Belgrade.

According to "Alo!" news agency, the tragedy occurred while the boy was playing with his friends on the street.

Ivan P. was right close to them, inhaling petrol.

- We never thought that something like this would happen. The boy was playing with his friends not far away for the young man who was drugging himself with petrol. He had previously set up a fire and was standing holding a plastic bottle full of petrol. While the liquid was getting warm, he would inhale the fumes. At one point, he dropped it and it started the fire which got hold of the boy - said the neighbors.

First to help was the boy's uncle. The kid was screaming in agony while the fire was raging on his body.

- We took his clothes off and started putting the fire out. He was conscious all the time, his hair burned, eye lashes... There were severe burns on his body, except on one arm and leg -  said the uncle of the young boy.

The child was rushed to the hospital, and the doctors were horrified when they saw what had happened.

He was detained, after which he will be brought to the prosecutor's office.
