Valjevo bishop Milutin is allegedly holding for a long time the new church under a key, built in the Valjevo village Brezovica, where the believers should gather after the flood of the monastery Gracanica.

Even thou this church has been build seven years ago, not a single service has been held there yet.

Oratory is still locked, and the locals of the villages Pocuta, Tubravic and Brezovice can not access it.

- It is about a new, beautiful church on Bakic hill in Brezovice, the whole complex looks grandiose, there aren't many of them in Valjevo region, but it simply isn't open, and the grass around it is already 1 meter high since no one is taking care of it. The door is locked, we can not go to the service.

- The only answer we received from the priest is that the key is at bishop Milutin's and he will decide when the church will be open - said the locals.

New church was built in 2009 at the expense of public communal company "Kolubara", which is also the investor of the dam and accumulation  "Rovni". The whole iconostasis was moved in the church in Brezovice, but is hasn't hosted a single believer yet.

- By the contract we were bound to build a church, parish home, priest home, shop, fountain and the baking furnace. We build a summer place, parking and a light lamps with fence, which was not in the contract. 

Last year we moved iconostasis from Valjevo Gracanica, relics and other inventory and handed the church to the Valjevo rectory - explains the director of "Kolubara" Miorag Markovic.

Why is the church in Brezovice still under lock, we couldn't find out from the bishop Milutin because he did not answer the phone calls, nor did anyone from the rectory in Valjevo.
