The foreign affairs committee convened by the new US Senate unanimously approved the ratification of the Protocol on the Accession of Montenegro to NATO

EVERYBODY IN FEAR OF ALBANIAN TERRORISTS: Serbia asks for protection of its embassies, safety measures to be increased to the highest level!

The Committee for the resolution, which supported Montenegro's membership, voted shortly after nine-hour debate about the certificate of candidacy of Rex Tilerson for Secretary of State.

The entire Senate should make a statement about the document now.

For the Protocol to be ratified, it needs to have two thirds of the votes out of 100 senators.

- I am glad that the committee renewed support to Montenegro to become the newest member of NATO and I hope for swift action on the resolution before the full Senate - Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee said in the statement, Republican Senator Bob Corcer, Reuters reported.

According to the "Voice of America", two senators had objections in the previous convocation of the Congress, Republican Rand Paul of Kentucky and Mike Lee of Utah.

Senator Rand Paul did not attend the board meeting that was not open to the public.

If Paul and Lee still have objections, Senate will vote on protocol in the ordinary procedure.
