After criticism due to the video in Jasenovac, the company for the glasses apologized: They only wanted to show respect for architecture

Valley Eyewear company has apologized after the commercial recorded in Jasenovac after sharp criticism on social networks, and that they only wanted to express "respect towards architecture". 

They made a commercial for glasses in Jasenovac camp: Croats found another way to make fun of the Ustasha's victims

- We didn't know that it was a death camp at that moment. We didn't want to insult anybody, we are a polite brand. We apologize to everybody who was insulted -  the director of the company Michael Crawley explained and he said that they visited Jasenovac for 30 minutes, BBC reports.

Jasenovac was a concentration camp and a death camp, which was led by the Croatian fascist Ustasha movement, the ally of the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler from 1941 to 1945.

Tens of thousands of Serbs, Jews, and Romas were murdered in it, as well as Croatian political opponents of the Ustasha regime, the BBC said.

Australian company "Valley Eyewear", which sells glasses, recorded a commercial video and photos in Jasenovac, which caused an avalanche of negative comments on social networks. 

One of the users said that the recording of the video in Jasenovac was "a terrible decision", while some users called for the boycott of the company.

- Stop using this symbol of the suffering Serbs, Jews and others in your campaign! - a Twitter user from Banja Luka wrote.

It is hinted, as it was stated, that the idea of the marketing expert who came up for this disgusting campaign, at the least, that you can see through every darkness through the glasses of this company, even through this monstrous one that swallowed tens of thousands of people who died in the most terrible pains.  

They didn't know in the Public Institution "Memorial area Jasenovac" that the commercial video was made. They said that they were surprised and that they will comment on the case when they investigate what it was about, "Novosti" writes.
