Albanians stoned Serbs: We were afraid and we prayed, women lied down in the bus (VIDEO)

Two buses with believers from Belgrade were stoned on Sunday near a little city Istok near Pec in Kosovo and Metohija, after the visit to the church of Mother of God, and a video of the attack appeared. The Albanian extremists made a barricade with a tractor, trailer, and tires, after which they started to throw stones, and immediately before that, gunshots were heard from the woods.

It can be seen in the video that a part of the road was blocked by the police who separated Albanians from the main road to prevent the attack, and then just a few meters forward the stones started flying.

At the moment when the driver noticed that they will be stoned, there was a shout saying "Get down!".

- When we got down from the Hill and when we reached the bus, there was a complete chaos. We were afraid, but we were alright. We prayed out loud, some women got down on the floor of the bus, while older men protected the young by sitting next to the windows - one of the girls said.

- We put our backpacks on the windows, and after an hour, additional police forces of Kosovo came, seven-eight vehicles, and they behaved very clumsily, they were rushing around, clearly not knowing what to do - she added.

Only when extremists have broken a window did they understand that the situation is very dangerous. They forced the crowd into a street, they cleared the barricades and the buses could continue.

She said that the Albanians ran around with stones and that they broke five windows on the bus, and then the police stopped the buses and they made a report of what happened.

The other person said for "Blic" that he remembers of the time when they looked at the Albanians as neighbors.

- The last time I was in the village Istok was 50 years ago, there was a reconstruction of the monastery which dates from the sixth century. Although Istok was full of Albanians, no one was afraid of us, no one attacked us. I was born in the neighboring village Vrelo. It was mixed, and Studenica was completely Albanian. However, we thought of Albanians as our neighbors. I haven't been there for fifty years - said B.P. (70).
