KFOR spokesman Vincenzo Grasso told FoNet today that the convoy of KFOR vehicles, which is heading to the north of Kosovo, is part of the regular exercise that this organization is running in accordance with its mandate, and stressed that there is no reason for concern. On the other hand, vice president of the Serbian List Igor Simic told our portal that the Serbs are very worried.

- That is a regular, normal exercise to strengthen KFOR readiness - said Grasso and reiterated that there are no reasons for concern.

When asked if the exercise has anything to do with the announcements of Pristina that they will form the Kosovo army tomorrow, he said that there are no connections, reiterating that this is another of regular exercises.

On the other side, the vice president of Serbian List, Igor Simic, said that the today's movements of a large number of KFOR vehicles, cause concern of Serbs on Kosovo and Metohija.

- If we have Pristina's announcement on one side, although it is against all international acts, from resolution SB UN 1244 to Brussels agreement, and even their Constitution on forming an army, and on the other hand, deployment of KFOR towards central Serbia, then we have the impression that KFOR chose Pristina's side - Simic said for Telegraf.rs.

He says that the citizens are afraid.

- Their units should be on the neural points between the north and the south in Kosovska Mitrovica, and in the Serbian communities south from Ibar river, and not turned towards central Serbia. Anyway, we continue with appeals to our people to remain calm and to refrain from the reaction to provocations coming from Pristina. We are on our own territory, and we absolutely have the rights to live a life worthy of a human bean - Simic concluded.
