Serbs on Gazimestan marked Vidovdan, Kosovo police forbade shirts with a Serbian politician (VIDEO)

A large number of people came on the occasion of marking Vidovdan, and the Memorial service was held by five bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church and a metropolitan of the Montenegrin-Adriatic, Amfilohije. The presence of Kosovo Police who regulated traffic was intensified, and they made a Serb take off his shirt with the leader of the Serbian Radical Party, Vojislav Seselj.

According to kossev.info, bishops and metropolitan arrived at Gazimestan after the liturgy served at the Gracanica Monastery, and a large number of faithful followers waited for them there.

It is alleged that besides Amfilohije there were also the bishops of Raska-Prizren Teodosije, retired bishop of Herzegovinian-Zagumian Atanasije, Jovan Slavonski, Kirilo from Buenos Aires and Budim-Niksic Joanikije, accompanied by monks and clergy.

According to the estimates of this portal, a significantly larger number of people gathered in Gazimestan, and buses with followers arrived from Belgrade, Smederevo, Novi Pazar, Budva, and there are vans from Leskovac, Skopje, and most of them were with Kosovo license plates.

It is said that the gathered people carried flags of medieval Serbia, flags with the inscription "No surrender", they burnt torches and sang patriotic songs.

They were also wearing Serbian flags, and many people carried them around their shoulders. There were even some flags of the movement "Obraz".

The presence of members of the Kosovo Police who regulated traffic was also strengthened.

Marko Jaksic and Slavisa Ristic, members of the People's Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija "Fatherland" arrived at Gazimestan.
