Tuman Monastery donates 4 devices to Pozarevac Hospital: "The Church is always with its people"

The monks of the Tuman Monastery, together with its friends, have bought four air decontaminators and donated them to the Pozarevac Hospital. The value of this donation is just over 1.15 million dinars.

The purpose of these devices is to eliminate bacteria and viruses from the air, including coronavirus cells, explained the abbot of the monastery, Father Dimitrije.

"In this way we wanted to point out that the Church is always with its people, not only in words, but also in deeds. To participate in these holy days in caring and loving our fellow folk. To show that the monastery is with the people who are suffering, because the people have also been with the monastery during its restoration," said Father Dimitrije.

These devices are is something that will be useful to the hospital in Pozarevac at this time, but also in the future.

"It is time and opportunity to be there for each other, to do good. The Tuman Saints are known far and wide as the helpers of people in sickness and distress. This, too, is the work of their love in the name of the Lord. These holy and sanctified days are a great time for all of us to show ourselves as true Christians and be there for each other. May these blessed and holy days of the Resurrection of Christ be blessed and happy for everyone," said the abbot of the Tuman Monastery.

This is one in a series of campaigns launched by the St. Jakov of Tuman Center, which is a part of the monastery. The campaign has been realized with the blessing of Bishop of Branicevo Ignatije of the Serbia Orthodox Church (SPC).
