Mokra Gora is a tourist village that nurtures culture and preserves tradition, celebrates diversity, provides opportunities for development of sustainable tourism and preserves biodiversity," said Matic.

She added that Mokra Gora is a village that has welcomed its "new life" in the 21st century and that thanks to the unique Sarganska Osmica (Sargan Eight) heritage railway, as well as the town of Mecavnik-Drvengrad, it has become a tourist attraction in Western Serbia visited by many tourists coning from around the world.

Matic stressed that the Republic of Serbia has excellent cooperation with the United Nations World Tourism Organization, which is reflected in active participation in the work of its bodies, as well as programs and projects of the organization, and thanked everyone who voted for Serbia and Mokra Gora.
