Dacic speaks about blockades: Interior minister presents precise numbers regarding protests in Belgrade today

Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said today, commenting on the protests in Belgrade, that all bridges in the Serbian capital are open to traffic, and that since this morning around 1,300 people have blocked 11 locations in the city.
Dacic said that the police have been on alert since this morning and that the priority is to make sure all vital points in Belgrade function normally.
"We will not touch locations that are not a priority for the functioning of the city, but vital routes will function normally. There's enough police, they have enough patience and time to deal with it all day and all night," stressed Dacic.
He stated that the "blockaders" tried three times to block the exit from Branko's (Brankov) Bridge through the Terazije tunnel, but that the police prevented that.
Dacic added that the protesters also tried to enter the NIS refinery in Pancevo last night, but left when the police came and removed the dumpsters pulled to there, without using force.
The minister reiterated that the police are doing their job professionally and in line with the law and thanked the officers who are on the ground around the clock.
