As part of the military alliance between Albania, Croatia, and Pristina, multinational or NATO exercises will be held covering various areas, including cyber and search and rescue, while the plan for holding them is expected to be finalized in September, writes Pristina-based Koha.

The Ministry of Defense of Croatia told that portal that the military alliance between Albania, Croatia and Pristina aims to "increase interoperability between the parties in multinational or NATO exercises in various fields."

It is added that the forms of participation will be determined after joint discussions with experts.

On March 18 in Tirana, Albania, Croatia and Pristina signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of defense and security.

The memorandum allows for the possibility for other countries to join, while the media reported that an invitation has already been sent to Bulgaria.

Serbia's top officials reacted by saying the memorandum represents a violation of the sub-regional agreement on arms control from 1996, as well as of UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

According to Resolution 1244, KFOR is the only armed force allowed in Kosovo and Metohija.
