Djuric: Regime in Pristina in 2026 continues to function as black hole of Europe
Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric has said that, instead of announcing normalization of relations, dialogue and work on a joint future, labeling and insults are coming from Pristina at the beginning of the new year.
Reacting to accusations made against Belgrade by the outgoing minister of foreign affairs of the provisional institutions in Pristina, Donika Gervalla Schwartz, Djuric pointed out that the regime of Albin Kurti continues to function in 2026 as a black hole of Europe, without perspective, but with a pronounced talent for creating problems.
"Lecturing about Serbia is legitimate - especially when it comes from our fellow citizen. It would, however, sound more convincing if it did not come from the authorities, which are going into the new year with a serious deficit regarding human rights, with damaged inter-ethnic relations and a practice in which pressuring Serbs, but also Albanians who think differently, almost always replaces the rule of law," Djuric stated in a post on X.
He noted that Albin Kurti's regime is bad for Albanians, bad for Serbs, and poses a risk for everyone who expects minimum stability in Kosovo and Metohija and in the region.
Donika Gervalla Schwartz previously accused Belgrade of "not having a foreign policy different than Russia" and asserted that the Serbian leadership "dreams about a regional empire".
