This day brings TWIST in weather: Here's when temperatures drops from 34 to 24°C, with showers and thunder

The start of this week is bringing sunny, summer-like weather to Serbia, with temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius, on Tuesday up to 33°C., and on Wednesday even up to 34°C.

Local showers with thunder are expected in the afternoon today, mainly on the mountains in the south and southwest of Serbia.

From Thursday, the weather is forecast to be noticeably cooler, with temperatures dropping by about 10 degrees.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected, with heavier precipitation on Friday.

Thunderstorms with hail are also forecast in some places, along with gale-force winds, strong thunder and heavy downpours.

Warmer weather will start returning to Serbia towards the end of the week.
