The President of the Peace Movement, Gojko Raicevic said that this is "just one of the planned activities" marking the 70th anniversary of victory over fascism, whose main ceremony will be on May 9th in Moscow.

- The Russian soldier is a symbol of peace that reigned in Europe until the NATO aggression against the Republic of Serbia and FR Yugoslavia. In the hope that reason will win and that peace will reign the world again, this is a reminder of how the Nazis ended up, and a warning to the neo-Nazis in addition to our humble tribute to  fellow citizens of Russian nationality and a commemoration to our liberators - said Raicevic.
