- In many villages there are just men. The worst situation is in Djala near the Hungarian border, in the vicinity of the village Ceremosnja, near Negotin, Bojanic, Stanac, Gokcanica, Djakovo and near the town of Kraljevo.
The situation is no better in the Crna Trava and surrounding area, where, in the village of Mlaciste, last year, after 38 years was born the first child - tells Branislav Gulan.

This data is confirmed by the situation on site, because in Crna Trava alone, there are currently more than 300 bachelors between the ages of 35 and 50.
The President of this municipality, Slavoljub Blagojevic says that girls do not want to get married and stay in the countryside, so they "flee" to Nis and Leskovac.
- I urge women to come back, I reckon that many of them can find their soul mate here and start a family. Here there are mainly educated boys that can provide the girls a normal life - states Blagojevic.
In most of these places, "boys" at a mature age spend most of their days in front of the store.

- Here you're bound to find a wolf or fox sooner than a woman. We all mainly live off of agriculture and feeding cattle. We have no money, so the store is our only gathering place - says potential groom, Milivoje Vitorovic, to Informer.
