Mysterious "very attractive Russian", who offered a meeting with the high officials of Kremlin to Donald Trump adviser is definitely not a "Putin's niece".

According to "Politiko", the girl who talked with the ambitious George Papadopoulos together with the "Russian Doctor" is named Olga Vinogradova.

- The name which was unknown so far is significant for the investigators who are trying to better understand the role of a female person who was first described as "Putin's niece", only to be determined that they are not related - the portal writes.

The sources of "Politiko" said that the agents are determining whether Vinogradova used a pseudonym, and it's unknown for who she worked for, where she lived or is she connected to the professor from London, Joseph Mifsud, who was the first contact for Papadopoulos.

Vinogradova appears as one of the mysterious figures in the story about contacts of Trump's associates with Russian authorities. Russian intelligence services rely on external collaborators with hidden connections with people in the Kremlin, among them are academics, business people, oligarchs, and so-called "sweet traps", attractive women who pull targets into connections that can be used for blackmail - writes "Politiko".

For now, it is not clear whether Vinogradova is one of these categories, but "Politiko" points out that the discovery of her identity may be an important part of the puzzle and reveal the methods of the Kremlin.

Mifsud told the Italian "Republic" that she was "only a student, a very beautiful student", and that Papadopoulos's interest in her was "nothing but academic".

Papadopoulos, a 30-year-old member of the Trump's presidential campaign team and one of foreign policy advisers, confessed to FBI agents that he lied at the start of an investigation about Russia's alleged influence on the US presidential election and agreed to co-operate with the special investigation team of the Congress.
