Serbian ace was better than Donald Young in three sets
The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the second round of Australian Open since he won against Donald Young at the start of the competition with 3:0 - 6:1, 6:2, 6:4.

This was the third duel between Djokovic and Young and the third victory of our Ace. The first time, in a far away 2006, at the US open, and then last year in Eastburn.
This was the first "serious" match for Djokovic since Wimbledon last year, and you could see his desire to show himself to the audience at his best. And he did, considering that it took less than 2 hours to win.

He reached the first break (3:1) in the fourth game, which he turned to (5:1) soon, and he won the first set in 23 minutes.
Novak was no less aggressive at the start of the second set. He had two breaks and he took the lead with 4:0, and the fans were fascinated with Djokovic's amazing movement on the court.
Nervous Young could only reduce the perfect score in the second set to 6:2.
Andre Agassi and Radek Stepanek, Novak coaches, didn't hide their happiness at the stadium in Melbourne, and why would they?
That finish of the second set announced a much better play by Young in the third set. Djokovic did take the break again and took the lead with 2:1, and then he confirmed it (3:1), however, the American showed in the fifth game that he was there for a reason. He reduced the score to 3:2.
Two great forehands brought Djokovic the lead of 4:2 but Young remained in the game with series of great services.
Djokovic will play against the winner of the match between French Gaël Monfils and Jaume Munar from Spain.
