This Easter Egg is made of marble and it weights 12 tons

Visitors from all over Macedonia are visiting the Monastery Holy Trinity in the village Skackovice near Komanovo these days, on north east of Macedonia. 

Three war friends have met each other in Banja Luka: Easter meeting that Nenad, Predrag and Stanoje waited for 20 years

Most of them are attracted to monastic attraction - Easter Egg three meters tall. 

- This Easter Egg is made of marble and it weights 12 tons. It was carved by the famous sculptor Sotir from Prilep, said Stojan Pajkovski for Kanal 5 Skopje Television, from Holy Trinity monastery in Skackovce village.

12 meter tall cross has been restored in honor of the holiday, which was placed in monastery in 1996.

Monastery complex is located on a hill above the village, and it consists of dormitory, library, stone tower, statues of Virgin Marry and St. Clement, and it has a room with folk wardrobe and other traditional objects.

The monastery, which is used for prayers, baptizing and marrying, besides believers and many tourists, around 5.000 students visit it from entire Macedonia annually.
