A strong storm covered the area from Kopar to Trieste, it is snowing on Platak, and strong rain has hit Rijeka, reports Croatian media.

Almost 200 milliliters of raid fell in Rijeka till 19:00h last night, which caused numerous problems in traffic, reports Istramet.

Mud torrents were flowing in some parts of the city and the water reached 40 cm of depth in some places, reports N1.

Hina adds that the firefighters had 15 cases where they were needed. According to them, somewhat after 20:00h the situation became a bit better and it is calming down.

Strong bad weather caught the area around Kopar to Trieste, and with the cold weather in evening hours, the rain quickly turned to snow.

- 30cm of snow fell last night on Zivizan. There is around 10 cm of snow on the main entrance on Babic Sica. The road to Zivizan is not cleared so we do not recommend the visitors to go to Zavizan. We bring you the photos from Babic Sica - in the description.
