Danjon returned to France with his wife Natalia who is recovering from her wounds. On May 18th, she was placed in the Novi Sad Emergency Center after being transported with grievous bodily harm.

The six time killer Rade Šefer launched a bloody campaign a few hours after his son, Vlastimir's marriage. He killed his daughter-in-law Natalia Bajtaji, her parents Carolina and Šandor, his ex-wife Rosa and her parents Gizella and Jenei Traćik.
The man who prevented the monster from killing is now being charged with his death?!
Emanuel Danjon who annexed the killer told the police and the prosecutor's office how the drama in Martonoš unfolded.
- I woke up at 9:45 am. Natalia, her parents and other guests from France were already in the kitchen. Suddenly, we heard a noise from the yard.
Šandor went to see what was happening. Two shots resonated. Natalia ran out to see what happened to her father, but was immediately struck. I can not remember whether he shot at Rosa or my wife. Other guests fled, and I hid behind the door and waited for him - he recounts.

He says Šefer then entered the kitchen and you could hear him filling the rifle cartridge. The Frenchman then pounced on him, grabbed a chair and hit him. Šefer defended himself with the rifle, and the Frenchman continued to fight him with his hands.

- At one point I grabbed him by the neck. I held him so tight until he stopped breathing - says Danjon.
Dominika Milic, the Deputy of the Higher Public Prosecutor in Subotica, questioned the Frenchman and determined that there are no elements that he be remanded to police custody and immediately left him to defend himself.
Had the Frenchman not killed Šefer, the list of victims would have surely been much greater.
