Fraudsters rent out bogus rooms for the Croatian coast over the internet!

Representatives of the tourism sector at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (CCC), warned local owners of family housing, tourists, travel agencies and the public to be careful when reserving and purchasing tourist accommodation, because illegal and fraudulent sellers have been scouring the internet with such sales.

Such frauds, which have been occurring in the world and Europe for some time, due to the increasing use of digital marketing and technology, have been observed in Croatia, it was said at the press conference of the representatives of the tourism sector of the CCC, reports Tportal.

As stated, there are currently dozens of applications for seventy objects of family housing in the Split-Dalmatia County, Kvarner, Zadar County, the island of Pag and Istra.
