Serbia's volleyball team win silver, place in Olympics

Serbia's female volleyball team won the silver medal at the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup in Japan as the Chinese team defeated the championship host in the Sunday match, 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-21, 25-22)

The team coached by Zoran Terzic achieved another important success by beating Argentina on Sunday, 3-2, and thus attained their top goal, a place in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

At the same time, Serbia's female volleyball team scored their best result at a World Cup competition ever since they entered the global volleyball scene. The 2016 Olympics in Rio will be the third time they are running for the title in the Olympic arena.

Serbia recorded ten victories during the tournament, as well as one defeat by China in the first round match.
