This year for the Holy Cross 36 people swam near the town of Grocka, Serbia, two of them girls
Traditional manifestation of swimming for the Holy Cross was held today, January 19 at high noon, at the Danube quay in the town of Grocka, Serbia.

36 people swam this year for the Cross, two of them being girls, and the whole procession was organized by priests of the local Holy Trinity church and the city municipality of Grocka.
Local businessmen and companies also supported the event.
The person who swam the first to the Holy Cross was Mirjana Veselinović from Grocka.
She took a photo along with her family right after the race was over.
The president of the municipality of Grocka, Stefan Dilberović, gave a golden cross to the winner, a gift of local jewell shops “Mijić” and “Koak”, a wodden cross, a cape, and a flower wreath.
