Traditional manifestation "Collective wedding" gathered 110 couples yesterday who said their faithful "I do" in from of couple of hundreds friends, families, news reporters and citizens that attended this interesting event which occurs every May in Belgrade.

One of the couples that pledged on eternal love is a married couple Lajsic, Darko and Marija, who were in a relationship for whole two years, and the fruit of it is daughter Darija. She is actually the most important reason for their marriage.
Since Darko is unemployed, and Maria being a disabled person, Center for social services took their child, who is now in foster family. They see each other often, they hope after the wedding they can have full custody over her again.
- This is a fight for our child. We have to be married to succeed in returning our little Darija, so she is the main reason i applied us for the wedding - said Darko.
Even thought they planned on getting married themselves, bad financial situation was an obstacle. That's why this was the perfect opportunity to provide everything his future wife wanted.
Besides the wedding dress, Marija had the opportunity for her first dance, even thought she is in a wheelchair. When the dance started, Darko lifted her up and then danced with her.
- I felt wonderful when he did that, i was surprised. I always imagined about the formal act of marrying and the wedding dress, and thanks to Darko, i experienced it - said the lucky bride.

I saw in the video when he lifted her from her wheelchair, it was very touching. I just can't believe that child services has money to take their child away instead of trying to help them. That's disgusting.
