Igor Stanojevic is a marathoner with greatest heart in Serbia! He SELLS his marathon, and this is how he imagined it and why (PHOTO)

In order to help his fellow citizen to go on the breast cancer surgery, marathoner Igor Stanojevic (43) from Prokuplje organized an action where he sells 42 kilometers he will run on Berlin marathon, which is scheduled for Sunday.

In just 48 hours he managed to gather something over 294.000 dinars, 400 euros and 31 Swiss franc and that money is enough for the surgery. Thanks to his great heart, there is hope for Danijela Vuckovic (35) from Prokuplje who needed 2.000 euros for breast cancer operation.

- I saw appeal for help from this young lady on Facebook and i thought of this idea. Its nothing new, because many run before me and started various ideas. I saw Danijela on the street, because we don't know each other but she amazed me with her courage. On this occasion i would like to thank everybody who supported this action - said Stanojevic.

Even though he kept track on Facebook, money was directly transferred to Danijela's account, and to honor everybody who participated, Igor ordered a shirt with the names of all participants of the action.

- Some names repeat, and some donors wished to remain anonymous. I will run marathon in it, all 42 kilometer. I don't care about the place because we already won in this action - adds Igor.

Danijela could not hide her happiness when she heard she got the needed money, and with tears in her eyes she promised that she will last through her own race!

- I found out i had cancer three days before i gave birth. Since then, my struggle has been going for nine months. I was trying all the time to perserviere and to make money for the surgery, but i was 2.000 euros short. When i thought i will never be able to get them, my friend posted my picture on Facebook and Igor answered. I still can't believe this is all true - said Danijela.

She promised she will endure what follows, for her kids and her family, and for this great gesture from an unknown man.
