Astana city authorities have adopted a decision on 8 November that street, which until now was known as 350th Street, will gets a name of Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and the Mayor of Astana Aset Isekeshev opened the Street of Nikola Tesla in the capital of Kazakhstan, and Vucic said that it is a great honor for a street in a friendly country to be named after our greatest scientists.

Serbian Prime Minister and the Mayor of Astana revealed in the "Family village" panel with a street name, and the ceremony was attended by citizens of Astana. Street was opened on the occasion of the visit of Prime Minister of Serbia and the signing of agreements between Astana and Belgrade.
With this act, Serbia became 45th on the list of cities which are brother-like to Astana.

Serbian prime minister said that the reception of the Serbian Progressive Party (SPP) in the European People's Party good news for Serbia.
- It is a good news. Some after me will have easier way in preserving the party and will always have the support of the European people. It is important for the country, because one of the most important parties is established in a good place and will always be able to pit their views before the people who decide about the future of not only Serbia, west Balkan, but also Europe and the entire world - said Vucic who is the leader of SPP.
Regarding the statement of the European Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who has expressed concern about the possibility of growth of opportunities of nationalist rhetoric before presidential elections in Serbia, Vucic said that the Serbian government while he is its president, will lead a responsible and serious politics - labor policy, fundamental change, and that the Europe is concerned with populism, irresponsibility, and he announced that he will be among the first to get in touch with the new US administration.
- It seems to me that after the recent events in Italy it goes in a difficult direction, but we have to ask ourselves do we look forward to it as a nation. What is funny to us, what are we happy about and does Europe's instability bring us any good - said Vucic.
