According to beliefs, crying of icon presents a sign or a warning of something that will happen in the future
One week before the Orthodox Christmas, on Sunday, right after the liturgy was completer, the Holy Mother of God icon "cried" again in the church of "holy Archangel Michael" in the village Trubarevo near Skopje. The tears went through her eyes once before in April of the last year, before Easter.

Believers informed the local priest about the "tears" and authorities in Macedonian orthodox church, who need to confirm the miracle that happened in "holy Archangel Michael" church in Trubarevo.
According to beliefs, crying of icon presents a sign or a warning of something that will happen in the future. In this case, believers say that they expect good news or event, because the tears were clear or crystal clean. If they were blurry, or God forbid red, the citizens would be struck by misfortune.
This is the second time the tears appear on the same icon. First time it happened on 10th April last year, before Easter.
- When the priest finished his Sunday liturgy, around 9, one believer noticed few drops going down from the left eye of the Mother of God icon. Father Boban took some wool and wiped it, smelled it and said it smells of Holy myrrh. After that few more drops came down the face of the icon. We remained in the church till 17:oo h and the drops kept appearing - said Risto Setinov, the president of Church board.
That news came to the head of Macedonian Orthodox Church, Arch priest Stefan, who prayed in front of the icon of Holy Mother of God, saying it is a sign from God, because it is really Holly Myrrh, the liquid of extremely pleasant smell, and he claims it has suiting affect.
"Tears" on the icon drew attention last year of great number of believers and scientists from all over the word who came to the church in Trubarevo just to see the miracle.
