It's a magical mirror. It is not known who told the story that it grants wishes, but the women who looked at it claim that "it works".

As in fairy tales, the Mokrin mirror fulfills desires, especially for the more beautiful half. The rule is to say the wishes "silently in themselves", and "for the sake of spells", never to says what they wished for.

Dragoljub Badrljica, a retired teacher of physical education and founder of the Museum, says that the miraculous Mokrin mirror grants wishes, at least according to the women who later said that they tested its effectiveness.

A mirror, about three meters high and with a wooden carved frame, was bought after the Second World War at an auction in Kikinda.

- The mirror was bought after the Second World War for the house of the Drzic family, but considering how high it is it could not fit into the house so it was sold to the family Ladicorbic. When Zoran and Zorica Ladicorbic moved to New York, the mirror ended up with Belosev family in the neighborhood. This house was left empty, and this beautifully decorated object found its place in the Museum - says Badrljica.

The legend of the magical "power" of this mirror spread at astronomical speed. Ladies came from all sides and sat in front of it.

- My student at the Kikinda High School, famous actress Vesna Cipcic, also looked at that mirror. She claims that it completely works. It is only necessary for the lady to sit in front of the miraculous mirror and to sincerely and deeply imagine the desire and it will be fulfilled - adds Professor Badrljica.

The Mokrin Museum was founded nearly forty years ago and it occupies four rooms in the Town house dating back to 1790. People from Mokrin who are spread all over the world are helping the museum, also some foreigners.

Among the most important exhibits found in Mokrin is the Mokrin beauty, sculpture found in one Mokrin property. The sculpture is about 5,500 years old and is preserved at the National Museum in Kikinda.

The museum will become richer with the complete library of Rasa Popov who expressed the desire to give it to his birth place. In his honor, people of Mokrin will organize a manifestation Days of Rasa Popov, which will be held in his memory every year.
