Two Serbs released from custody on Zakynthos: First words of happy father Nenad from Nis

Nenad Jovanovic from Zitoradja and Sinisa Petrovic from Nis, who were arrested on suspicion that they participated in the murder of American citizen on Zakynthos, were released today from custody with paid bail of 5.000 euros and their return to Serbia is expected.

My son is free, and I can't describe the way I feel - This is how Ljubisa Jovanovic, father of the 20 years old Nenad who was arrested on Zakynthos for the murder of American tourist, commented on the decision of Greek authorities to release his son.

Worried father said that he feared that something bad will happen to his son on the vacation, and his worst nightmare came true.

- He is a boy, every parent fears that he might get into a fight, that he might get injuries, or that someone else will. However, I never dreamed that it could go this far. I watched the situation in Greece with fear, the worst thing was that I am far from my child and I can't help him in any way. My wife Jasmina traveled to Zakynthos to be with our son and I expect to see them home as soon as possible - said Ljubisa.

When asked will they prepare a formal welcome, Ljubisa said that he is still stunned by the good news and that he hasn't thought about that yet.

- It will depend on him, I am sick, this only further worsened my health. Now we really wish to be alone, to survive together what has happened to us - said Ljubisa.
