"Help, rape!": A bloody girl screamed and ran away from a migrant in a public toilet! This is a second case in Zagreb in one week

In less than a week, two women from Zagreb were targets of sexual assaults. After the Afghan (27) who attacked a woman (40) in Dugave, the target was a 19-year-old.

- Help, rape! - screamed a scared girl coming out of the public toilet in Zagreb's "Importanne" Center on Friday at about 22 o'clock.

She was attacked by three years older asylum seeker from Morocco who was caught by a guard who recognized him when he was returning to the crime scene after fleeing.

Police apprehended him, questioned him and handed him over to the detention officer, after which he would give his statement before the investigating judge of the Zagreb County Court who decides whether to imprison him.

The victim accused the young man of trying to rape her, so the investigators marked the attack only as a blatant act. 

Apart from the fear and pain they have suffered, the attacked women are horrified by the fact that their attackers, if convicted, can only get one year in prison.

- There are our men who are bad, but the migrants are very rude and they keep entering the toilets, not for necessity, but for some other things. They sometimes exit the toilets to the sinks with their pants down. I feel sorry for them, there are decent people among them, I am a refugee myself, but I adapted to this state, they should too - said one woman working in the center.

The fruit seller points out that he doesn't understand how incidents can occur despite the constant patrols of police officers.

- I am not afraid, but when my daughter is on the beach, she is uneasy. Up to seven migrants gather there and they stare without moving their eyes, it's uncomfortable. They get drunk there, all night, sometimes until six in the morning. They like to go to the casino and wander around the toilet, especially on Friday night. They have beaten some of our guys in front of the store - said the salesman to the "Vecernji List".
