Raging Lake Ohrid swallows everything in its path: Cafes underwater, the bridge is flooded, and the locals are fearing the worst (VIDEO)

Strong wind, which was blowing up to 100 km/h was blowing in some moments, it rose the waves in Lake Ohrid which swallowed everything in their path, causing great material damage. Beaches were flooded, the pathways and catering facilities near the coast and the wind has blown away the famous "bridge of wishes" which connects the downtown of Ohrid with the suburb Kaneo.

- It is horrible on the beach. Everything by the coast is under water now. The wind caused real chaos, and the water swallowed everything. Cafes Akvarius, Kadmo, and many other in the old part of the city are now under water. The anchored ships are now under danger - Vane Petkovski from Ohrid said for Skopje Fokus.

The bad weather has caused great damage, the electricity went off in some parts of the city, and the traffic between Ohrid and Saint Naum has ceased.

Locals fear that the next day can be even worse due to the forecast from the Administration for hydrometeorological affairs, where they said that the wild bill blow even stronger with strong rainfall due to the effect of the cyclone Hektor.
