At least six people lost their lives in a multiple-vehicle collision on a highway near Mijatovac, between Cuprija and Jagodina. Traffic is stopped in both directions.

The crash happened this morning, somewhat after seven, reports RTS. Many firefighters and ambulances were sent to the scene, there are many injuries, and according to the information, two trucks caught on fire.

It is yet unknown why the crash happened, and the cause is most probably the fog, which makes driving difficult in many parts of Serbia.

The alternative route Belgrade-Nis is the exit in Jagodina towards the city, and then to Cuprija.

The best path from Nis to Belgrade is to exit at Cuprija, towards the city, and then to Jagodina, where the vehicles return to the highway towards Belgrade.
