He claimed that he was chosen by God and he doesn't accept defeat: Everything about Jair Bolsonaro, who defeated death, and now he could become the president of Brasil

They are calling him Brasilian Donald Trump, and it seems as if he is prepared to do everything for the wellbeing of his people

Next week, more than 147 million Brazilians will choose a new president of this largest and most populous South American state. There will be two names on the ballots: the right-wing member Jair Bolsonaro and the left wing member Fernando Haddad, Bolsonaro needed less than 2 percent of the votes to be elected in the first round, and this is seen as a miracle of its own, considering that he has beaten death 45 days ago after a failed assassinationMessiah, his middle name, looks like a spark of hope for the most Brazilians, since this country is deeply divided, and it suffers from long-lasting economic recession and extreme violence, and the murder rate has reached its peak last year.

Erdogan and Vucic on the telephone, the Turkish president said: I will support every agreement of Serbs and Albanians

The elections are taking place after the words recession in the history of Brasil, and the economy suffered a decline of seven percent between 2015 and 2016. The country was greatly shaken by one of the world's greatest corruption scandals, "Lava Jato" (car wash) which broke out because of the bribe that businessmen paid to the politicians in exchange for contracts with the state oil giant Petrobras.

Former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was involved in the scandal, and he got 12 years in prison.

All on all, when we add the enormous increase in the rate of violence, which peaked last year, it is clear why 210 million Brazilians are barely waiting for New Year.

At that time, they won't need champagne to get drunk and to help them forget the everyday poverty and the fear, but they will welcome January 1, 2019, sober and with great expectations for the 38th president, which will come to power.

There are great problems and a great work ahead of him.

By the look of things, Jair Bolsonaro will get the job to get the troubled lion of Latin America back on its feet. According to the pools, he has the support of the 40 percent of the voters, while 25 percent support the candidate of the left wing, Fernando Haddad.

If it weren't for problems with electronic voting boxes, Bolsonaro would have been elected on October 7th, however, it seems that it was destined for him that he has to do everything the hard way, with great personal sacrifices. Given his life story and political career, he almost justified his middle name - Messiah.

Bolsonaro graduated in 1977 at the military academy Agulhas Negras, and he served in the artillery and parachute units of the Brazilian army. He became known to the public in 1986 when he wrote an article for the Veja magazine in which he criticized the low salaries of members of the army, after which he was arrested despite letters of support from his colleagues. He was released two years later.

The year 1988 was fateful for Bolsonaro in two ways. He was transferred into reserves of Brasil army with the rank of a Captain, but he was also elected for the city council of Rio on the list of Christian Democratic Party.

In the 1990 elections, he was elected as a federal congressman. He served in four consecutive terms. In January this year, he joined the Social Liberal Party (PSL), which nominated him as their candidate for the president on July 22.

Since the Brasilian politics has been dominated by the left-wing Workers Party (PT) for the past two decades, and the four previous presidents came from their ranks, and the right-wing Brazilian Social Democratic Party (PSDB), constant corruption scandals and the economic crisis have helped Bolsonaro's rise.

He claims that Lula and his PT are responsible for the current crisis in the country.

Bolsonaro in Brasil, which is full of politicians charged for corruption, has a reputation as one of the fairest. And that is precisely where he sees his chance.

- I am fighting against corrupted oligarchy - he likes to repeat often. Also, he likes pointing out that Brazil is a Christian country.

He is fiercely against left-wing parties, and as he likes to say, "anti-Communist". He likes to present himself as a man who is not afraid of using the most drastic measures in the fight against crime.

That is why he advocates for the introduction of the death penalty and the right for citizens to carry weapons.

- Violence is defeated with violence, and not talking about human rights - he claims and adds: A criminal respects only what he is afraid of.

Those statements are being supported by citizens in the country with increasingly insecure streets.

He had the opportunity to see for himself how insecure the Brazil streets are. He was attacked during the pre-election rally on September 6. The attacker stabbed him with a knife in the lower part of the stomach. The disturbing footage traveled the world in seconds.

Due to the serious injury, he couldn't continue his campaign on the terrain, but he could only continue online. But, that increased his popularity. He successfully recovered and he sent a message that he is prepared to lead Brazil into the better future.

That is why he was greeted at the airport by thousands of fans. Their flag won't be read and Brazil won't become another Cuba, they shouted. They wanted to see their "Mythical hero", and then they carried him on shoulders. They had the sashes saying "Bolsonaro 2018".

Due to his solid beliefs, Bolsonaro wasn't the favorite in the mainstream media, and that is why he massively used the social media, just like the American president Donald TrumpHere, he is by far the most popular Brazilian politician, with the greatest number of followers.

Bolsonaro counts on the support of the ambassador of the United Nationa, Paolo Zampolli, who is a personal friend of Trump, and who is "to blame" for the meeting of Melania Trump and the first man of the USA, which he talked about in the exclusive interview for Telegraf.rs.

Successful athletes also supported Bolsonaro. Brasil and Barcelona football legends, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho were the first of many.

This 63-year-old was rejected by the political elite for a long time. That was what happened with beforementioned Trump, who ended up in the White House. By the looks of things, Bolnosaro can expect the same faith.
