Migrants broke through the cordon at the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, 200 people blocked the traffic: Conflicts with the police are ongoing and there are injuries (VIDEO)

- We will stay at the border, we will camp there until the Croatian police allow us to cross the border. We want to go to the European Union, we do not want to go to Croatia or Italy, they are beating and returning us here, we want to go further. We won't give up now, we have to go for the better, to Europe, and we can do that only with the help of humanitarian actions and media - said a migrant in perfect English in Velika Kladusa who claims that he left a large estate in Iran, three jobs and cars.

During the breach of the border, the migrants approached Croatian police, they even threw rocks, bottles and other items which they brought with them, and three Croatian police officers suffered injuries, and two migrants were hurt as well. Croatian police set up a fence, and the special police force soon arrived. Migrants who came to the border crossing were mostly young people, men in their 20s and 30s, and there were just a few families with small children.

The locals explain that someone is manipulating migrants and that everything is planned, according to Vecernji list.

Well, take a look at that man there, when he comes among the people at the border, everybody is following him, then there are quarrels, shouting. He is apparently a leader. We have noticed people checking up on migrants these days, who started telling them they can go over the border. Those are some volunteers. They tell them they can cross the border, although they have mobile phones, they surf the internet and they are well aware they can't cross the Croatian border - the local man said.

The locals from Velika Kladusa explain that it is safer here than in Bihac.

- It is a disaster there, there are thousands of them. They are still not attacking us, locals here, there are fights and killing of each other there. They still haven't attacked us, but they are attacking the locals in Bihac. Some are breaking in people's homes, some even sleep in hotels. We want this to be solved - they said from Velika Kladusa.

Police Minister Davor Bozinovic said that there are enough police officers on the Croatian side of the Maljevac border in order to preserve the crossing.

- We will not leave. We also invited migrants who are in Bihac to come to Velika Kladusa to make create pressure on the Croatian police to let us through - the migrants are not giving up.
