Last warning to Pristina! Trump sent two men to Haradinaj: Respect our demands or there will be new sanctions

Two very important US officials, US National Security Council chief John Erath and one of the European Affairs Director of the Council, William Berkeley, are in charge of US President Donald Trump's administration, are coming today to Pristina in order to meet with Prime Minister of the Provisional Institutions Ramush Haradinaj.

According to speculation in circles close to the White House and the State Department, two US officials will exert pressure on the suspension of the tax and the continuation of the dialogue in Brussels, reports gazetametro.net.

- He will give clear instructions to Pristina government relating to suspension of taxes on the goods from Central Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and continuation of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the final agreement - stated the portal.

They stated that it is the last attempt of Americans to reason with Haradinaj to abolish taxes and to respect the American requests before they decide on introducing the new sanctions. So far, they have set up several measures: Haradinaj's visa has been denied, when he was supposed to travel to Prayer Breakfast, the commander of the National Guard of Iowa Timothy Ore canceled his visit to Pristina, and the invitation to the Pristina government for their representatives to participate in the eight programs of the European centers for Safety studies "George C. Marshal" in Germany has been ignored.

The US mentioned new sanctions to Pristina in order to show their dissatisfaction, and those are the block of deals related to arming the "Kosovo military", denial of money for building and strengthening of institutions in Pristina, but also, refusal of hospitality to Kosovo leaders.

The White House delegation was previously in Belgrade, where they met with Serbian officials, who have advocated for the continuation of the dialogue and reaching a final agreement but only after the abolition of a 100 percent tax.

The news of the arrival of US officials in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija was confirmed by the Presidency in Pristina.
