Six years have passed since the greatest massacre that happened in Serbia. On this day, Ljubisa Bogdanovic in the village Velika Ivanca near Mladenovac killed 13 people in cold blood, even his own son and mother.

He mysteriously disappeared: Bojan Ugrenovic from Kraljevo was charged for the murder of a man in Ohrid, and his sentence has been cut in half

It was around 5 AM when the bloody carnage began. Most of the villagers were sleeping in their homes, not even thinking that they won't wake up in the morning.

Some of them tried escaping, but they fell down under the bullets of Ljubisa.

Ljubisa first killed his own son Branko (42) and mother Dobrila (83) in his own house, and he seriously wounded his wife Javorka. Then, he started going around the neighborhood. He killed the mother and daughter, Danica and Dragan, in the home of family Stekic, and then he killed Mikailo and Milena in the house of family Despotovic, their grandson Goran and his 19-year-old wife Jovana, and their 2-year-old son.

That murder especially shook the public, and the investigation showed that Jovana was fighting until the end to protect her little David.

- Ljubisa first killed Mikailo at their doorstep, he fell to the ground, and then his wife Milena, then Jovana's husband Goran. Jovana was sleeping alone in the other room with her son. She must have heard the shooting and reached for the phone. She called the police and said that her husband was murdered. Then the murderer walked into her room. Jovana turned towards her son, to protect him, but unfortunately, she couldn't - they said at the police.
