President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic spoke about the terrible fire that caught the Cathedral Notre Dame in Paris.

- All citizens of Serbia are sad for Notre Dame. We are with our French friends and we are prepared to help the restoration of this symbol of French and World civilization - wrote Vucic.

It was still not determined what is the cause of fire in the cathedral, but the first information state that it was connected with the works on restoration which was performed. This church was built in Gothic style and it is eight and a half centuries old, and the fire caused immeasurable damage to the cultural treasure.

Notre Dame is one of the main symbols of Paris.
