Haradinaj closes north of Kosovo? He ordered the launch of a concrete action

Ramush Haradinaj, prime minister of the provisional Pristina institutions, announced on Twitter that concrete actions "in preventing and combating all cross-border illegal activities" in northern Kosovo have been taken.

As he wrote, Pristina law enforcement agencies have taken concrete actions.

- Kosovo’s Law Enforcement institutions have taken concrete actions in preventing and fighting all cross-border illegal activities within the green strip area bordering Kosovo and Serbia in the north.

He added that "no fake news will affect their mission".

No deceptive scenarios or fake news will step back our credible and legitimate law enforcement institutions in their mission to ensure rule of law in all parts of Kosovo, including the green strip area that borders in the north Kosovo and Serbia.

He said the Pristina government is aware of such a "plan to improvise the humanitarian crisis" and has evidence that certain people are hiding food products at home.

- We have proof of that scenario, about the people involved. We will not allow to miss any products because the citizens of Kosovo - said Haradinaj at a press conference after the Pristina government session.

He claims that "the activation of this scenario" is planned on Thursday, Kosovo Clan added.

Haradinaj estimated that there was a tendency to force Pristina to close its eyes before smuggling.

We must not allow this, not because of any food product, but because smugglers can carry narcotics and weapons - Haradinaj said.

The inhabitants of the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo and Metohija - Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok - are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe because the stores lack basic food items.

Seven months after the provisional Pristina authorities unilaterally imposed 100% on goods from central Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, about 400 private shop owners plan to shut down these facilities because their stores are completely empty, milk and dairies haven't been arriving for days, including oil, sugar, and salt.

Director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said today regarding the food shortage in the north of Kosovo and Metohija that Pristina scenario in the north of Kosovo is to expel Serbs quietly, but with an aggressive method.
